Orange, Ginger, and Herb Broiled Haddock
Haddock is a low fat firm textured saltwater fish with a milder flavor than most other fish. The recipe includes an assemblage of healthy ingredients that fuse together flavorfully. It’s a great low fat healthy protein packed recipe for those looking for healthier eating options.
Ingredients:
- 1 lb of haddock fillets
- Chopped zest from 1 orange
- Juice from 1 orange
- 1 tbsp of soy sauce
- ½ tsp of finely grated ginger
- ½ tbsp of chopped cilantro
- ½ tbsp of chopped scallions
- ¼ tsp of Himalayan pink salt
- ¼ tsp of ground black pepper
Step 1: In a marinating bowl or pan combine and mix together 1 lb of haddock fillets, chopped zest from 1 orange , the juice from that same orange, 1 tbsp of soy sauce, ½ tsp of finely grated ginger, ½ tbsp of chopped cilantro, ½ tbsp of chopped scallions, ¼ tsp of Himalayan pink salt, and ¼ tsp of ground black pepper. Marinate the fish for 30 minutes.
Step 2: Broil the fish on high for roughly 10 minutes until the haddock is fully cooked. Serve and enjoy. Bon Appetit!
